2021 Science (IF 41.846) : Liquid Medium Annealing for Reproducible Perovskite Solar Cell

  Top-Notch Due to It’s Precision!

Science (IF 41.846) journal recently published a study on a highly reproducible and durable perovskite solar cell. In the study, the author adopted the method of “liquid medium annealing (LMA)” to create a strong chemical environment and a constant heating field to regulate the crystal growth of the entire film. The film created by this method had less crystallinity and defects and could achieve higher overall film uniformity.

Perovskite has been proven to be sensitive to moisture, but the traditional annealing method has a strong dependence on the weather. The LMA liquid medium annealing method used by the author could effectively block the interference conditions from the environment. Enlitech’s QE-R   Quantum Efficiency Measurement system and LQ-100X Absolute Electroluminescence EQE/ Photoluminescence Quantum Yield Tester were used in this study. The results showed that the weather adaptability of LMA technology could be used for a wide range of perovskites manufacturing. The perovskite solar cell (PSC) produced a stable power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 24.04%, which opened a new effective way to improve the quality of perovskite film and photovoltaic equipment.
